Starfleet Command Quadrant One

Starfleet Command (or SFC) is an international non-profit group of Star Trek, Science Fiction and Space Enthusiasts and one of the oldest Star Trek fan clubs in the world. We may not be able to provide a deck under your feet or warp drive, but we do aim to encourage an environment where you can meet like-minded fans and make friends with the same interests as you

WHAT IS STARFLEET COMMAND

Starfleet Command (or SFC) is an international non-profit group of Star Trek, Science Fiction and Space Enthusiasts and one of the oldest Star Trek fan clubs in the world. Originally founded in the United States in 1974, the club is patterned after the Starfleet Command organization as seen in the Star Trek television series and movies.

Starfleet Command operates through units spread across the United States (Quadrant One), the United Kingdom and Europe (Quadrant Two) and Australia and Asia (Quadrant Three). Each Quadrant runs autonomously, with it’s own Admiralty Board and Support structure.

START YOUR STARFLEET CAREER

STARFLEET Academy is a department within STARFLEET Command. The primary mission of Starfleet Academy is to educate our members so they are better prepared to serve their units, Starfleet Command, and all fandom.

The Academy serves as a knowledge resource in many areas including (but not limited to) science, astronomy, Star Trek trivia, and Naval history.

All new Starfleet Command Quadrant One members start as enlisted recruits in their local units. (If under the age of 10, they begin as midshipmen). Once a recruit turns 16, the member can enroll in Officer Candidate School (OCS).

THE FLEET

Starfleet Command Quadrant 1 is unique amongst Sci-Fi clubs in that not only do we have an unparalleled forty-eight plus year history of continuous activity world wide, but we have also been acknowledged for our efforts by Gene Roddenberry.

While the fleet size continues to change from year to year the organizations basic principles have remained the same.

WE BELIEVE IN DIVERSITY

In Star Trek, IDIC refers to

(Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations) and is a Vulcan philosophy. The phrase in Vulcan is Kol-Ut-Shan. Over the years,  Star Trek fans have embraced the concept of IDIC as fans from varied and diverse cultures unite. IDIC has become an ideal worth striving for.

SFC proudly supports the philosophy as we believe our differences do make us stronger.
